As seen on CG-Masters!

I have just gotten word that my Mech model is being used as an example for a lighting tutorial for CG-Masters.com
Pretty neat I think, they are making it available for download so students can practice their lighting with it.
Not a big fan of parting with things but I think the cause is good, and thats a pretty nifty credit to have.
My lighting instructor is the narrative teacher in the video. I donated the model to his tutorial site and after lots of requests I gave the go ahead to make it downloadable.

Game Res Character


In this image:
-The Game Mesh at 8250 triangles.
-Rendered Game Mesh with 1k textures.
-And HiRes mesh at 39338 triangles with 2k textures and SSS skin shader.
Both are using Diffuse, Specular, and Normal maps.
Rendered with Mental Ray in XSI
Normal Maps built in Zbrush, with some xNormal elements.
